Orphan Art (previously Hues and Stencils) organised its second art outreach to the Nyamedua Orphanage to partner with them and support their needs.
The outreach is the second of its kind, born from a desire to give back to the community by harnessing the power of art. Founder and Chief Curator Vera Nti visited the solo debut of her primary school art teacher and immediately had her light bulb moment when she realised instead of visiting the orphanage and leaving after a one-time donation, she could engage the children, inspire them and give back meaningfully-all in one visit!

Nyamedua Orphanage Home was picked this year as the partner organisation to raise funds for. Their needs spanned basic medical supplies, foodstuff, clothes and other essential items.
The initial surprise and excitement as the kids realize the fun about to unfold, is what we live for at Orphan Art. Knowing that these paintings will serve as a channel to tell their stories far and wide across the globe completely fills me with hope for a better future for them.
